Saratoga High School Qualifier
Overview
The Saratoga qualifier was our first qualifier for the 2015/2016 season! Fortunately, we ran into little hardware and software issues unlike last year and overall performed very well. We were undefeated for the whole competition. We won the Inspire award and were a member of the winning alliance. We advanced to NorCal from this competition.
Strategy
Our strategy for this qualifier was quite simple:
We primarily focused on getting cubes into the mountain goals. Our drive train was efficient on the floor but was not able to consistently get over the first churro. Most of our points were scored in the tele-op period and the last 30 seconds of the match..jpg)
Matches
The drivetrain and the lift mechanism worked consistently and the only problems we faced came from loosely attached electrical connections. The highest we scored was 135 during match 2.
