On Saturday, February 9th, 2019, the team traveled to Justin-Siena High School in Napa, CA to compete at the Napa Qualifier. This was the first time in the past two seasons where we will compete in a double-field qualifier. The qualifier was very successful as we went undefeated the whole competition.
At Napa, we made many great improvements to our robot. First, we made use of a linear actuator for a dedicated hang mechanism on the back of our robot, as opposed to using our arm. Our arm was also on a linear actuator, making it much more robust. We had some issues with our Autonomous, as we only had a crater side auto path. Despite that, our TeleOp went very well, and paired with our exceptional scouting was enough to get us Winning Captain Alliance.
